Sailing Aboard the Costa Toscana

The sister ship to Costa Smeralda, Costa Toscana’s design is inspired by Italian art, culture, and landscapes in true Italian style, she has many new and enhanced features to her sister ship, like the infinity bar that can be found at the stern of the ship.

She takes the lead as the flagship of the Costa Cruises fleet to date. The Colosseum is the heart of the ship, spread over three levels, It features a large LED screen dome ceiling and walls for an immersive experience with nightly concerts and shows being performed, you simply can’t fail to be wowed by this fantastic venue. Another spectacular area is the Piazza di Spagna: a grand open-air staircase overlooking the stern. like her sister ship, the Volare walkway reaches 65 meters above the ocean to enjoy incredible vistas.

Cabins have been designed by the Milanese company Dordoni Architetti and reflect a seaside theme with modern comfortable furnishings. The Sea Terrace cabins are one of the most impressive on offer and feature a beautiful veranda and terrace for guests to have breakfast or enjoy the sea views.

Being powered by the world’s ‘cleanest’ fossil fuel – LNG – Liquefied Natural Gas, she also boasts notably low exhaust gas emissions compared to most newly built ships these days as she has been fitted with the latest environmental technology.
